Meditate your way to inner peace
To ensure proper benefit through meditation, one needs to keep in mind certain things. First and foremost is the environment. Meditation can only be possible in a quiet and serene surrounding – even in your garden. As long as you are comfortable and without any external disturbances, you are ready to meditate. For a more peaceful aura, you can sit in a room with aromatic candles and incense sticks burning around you. Just make sure that the scents are not too overpowering, but are very subtle and relaxing.
Another important factor to keep in mind while meditating is posture. Although one can sit in any comfortable position for the meditation, the best way to meditate is through a proper sitting posture. Meditation techniques are actually a part of various asanas (postures) of the yoga, and is beneficial to the fullest when done accordingly.
